Delivery availability depends on the individual vendor. Some offer delivery within their area, while others offer pickup at markets or their location. Each vendor's listing will show their available fulfillment options.
RootStall is available across all major Hawaiian islands — Oahu, Maui, Big Island, Kauai, Molokai, and Lanai. As vendors join from each island, you'll see more options in your area.
We support secure payment through the app. Your payment information is encrypted and never shared with vendors. You can also coordinate direct payment with vendors for cash or other methods if they offer it.
Selling on RootStall is currently free. No subscription, no transaction fees, no commissions, no hidden costs — you keep 100% of every sale. RootStall reserves the right to introduce vendor pricing in the future, and any change will be communicated to vendors in advance.
Anything local you'd sell at a market, fair, or pop-up — fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, honey, coffee, crafts, art, plants, clothing, and more. If it's local and legal, it belongs on RootStall. We ask that all products comply with Hawaii food safety regulations where applicable.
Unlimited. List as many products as you want. Add new ones anytime, remove seasonal items when they're out of stock, and update prices whenever you need to.
We recommend following all applicable Hawaii state and county regulations for your type of business. For cottage food operations, Hawaii's cottage food laws allow certain homemade foods to be sold without a commercial kitchen. Check with your county for specific requirements.
Absolutely. RootStall is designed to complement your physical market presence, not replace it. Many vendors use RootStall to reach customers between market days and on other islands. You can even connect your booth to the physical markets you attend.
Payments are processed securely through the platform and deposited directly to your bank account. You'll see all your earnings in your sales dashboard with full transaction history.
When a customer places an order, you get a notification. Open the order, review it, and mark it as accepted. When it's ready, mark it as ready for pickup or out for delivery. The customer gets notified at each step. It's all done with a simple tap.
You can pause your booth at any time. Your listings stay saved, but customers won't be able to place new orders until you reactivate. You can also cancel your subscription anytime — no penalties, no questions asked.
